Universe City
Universe City tells the story of Zack Creed. A cop who has had more that his share of bad luck. After a divorce, the death of his best friend and partner, and the demotion back to uniform division, he has been limping through what remains of his career, with no hope and no way out.
That is, until fate took a hand, and Zack was recruited to stop a technology smuggling ring in a place known to the world as "The UC"... Universe City. Ten years ago an alien city crash landed on in right smack in the middle of America's Heartland. The alien "Hong Kond" of sorts is populated with 5 million aliens from a thousand different races. A city with its own government, its own politicians... and unfortunately its own brand of corruption. The level of technology the aliens bring is so advance that it threatens to destabilize the entire world on both and economic and militaristic level.
In taking the job Zack has a chance to make good in a life that has gone so horribly wrong for him. There are just two problems. One: Zack hates aliens. Which in this politically correct world of harmony, doesn't fly any more. And Two: he is forced to partner with his ex-wife Vinita, who has similarly been recruited to the UC. If he thought being married was rough, that was a cake walk compared to being partners with her on a police beat.

Fernando Pinto » Artist
Fernando Pinto is a newcomer to the comic book biz. He’s a graduate of the 2004 class of the Joe Kubert School of cartoon and graphic art. He is currently breaking into the industry working on “Universe City” with Kevin as well as “Ursa Minors!” with Neil Kleid for SLG publishing and “New World Rising” a graphic novel to be self published with his friend Jerrod Kloetzer. He also works as a freelance storyboard artist for various advertising agencies in Santiago, Chile were he resides.
Other personal faves include Warped tour bands, baggy pants, caffeine and hanging out with his girlfriend…who just rocks :D. He’ll like you if you’re cool…
