Storms are serious events.

They can bring much needed rain to drought stricken areas. They can also bring floods that damage homes. Or tornadoes that wipe out whole towns. Or hurricanes that destroy cities. All those types of storms are very serious. Any storm can be serious.

It's that seriousness we want to capture through our name, DarkStorm, and in our comics.

We of DarkStorm Studios understand there's a time for fun things and there's a time to get serious. A time to deal with ideas and issues most don't want to hear. To tell stories many may not want to know.

But we hope you readers are brave enough to risk getting a little wet with us.

The comics planned for DarkStorm will cross many different genres and bring you heroes you never thought you'd ever see, and probably a few heroes you didn't want to see.

If you're like us, though, you like taking some chances.

And who knows, you might just like the results.

Consider this your warning.

There's a DarkStorm on the horizon.

And it's going to blow you away.

History

Formed in 2005 by Kevin Grevioux, Darkstorm Studios is simply put…A LABOR OF LOVE.

The type of love that is steeped in the appreciation for what the medium has done for the landscape of the imagination and the scope of entertainment.

Here at Darkstorm, we are not attempting to “re-invent the wheel”…but to add a few more spokes. To throw our hat into the ring, so to speak, into the realm of fantasy and science fiction.

It should be fun.

Darkstorm Studios Staff

Vincent S. Moore » Editor
Vincent S. Moore was born, raised, and is still living (on a shoestring budget) in Southern California. His lifelong love of comics was born from the very moment he bought Fantastic Four #176, with a Jack Kirby Impossible Man cover. Over the years, despite efforts to live life in the real world, he found himself working at Comics Ink in Culver City, CA for nearly nine years.

In recent years, Vincent has been attempting to break into the comics industry, with a few false starts along the way and some good friends still made in the process. Today, he is still writing and drawing and creating secret projects of his very own (of which more will be heard about in the coming year, hopefully), in addition to providing services to DarkStorm Studios as editor.
